Nanosmile initiative is driven by Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives ("CEA") and the Institut Nationale des Sciences et Techniques Nucléaires ("INSTN").

Initially supported in the frame of FP6 NanoSafe2 program, Nanosmile development is currently supported by FP7 European iNTeg-Risk and  the SERENADE labex ("Safer ecodesign research and education applied to nanomaterial development").
